Our Journey of Empowerment and Hope
Since 1992, we’ve been dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable children in Uganda through education, healthcare, and community support.
Founding of Uganda Australia Foundation (1992)
ABC Children’s AID was founded in 1992 as Uganda Australia Foundation (UAF), with a mission to improve the quality of life for Uganda’s most vulnerable. Starting with education and relief support, UAF laid the foundation for its future as a global force for child welfare.

Official NGO Registration (1993)
In 1993, UAF was officially registered as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). This milestone enabled us to formalize our operations and expand our impact across Uganda, focusing on education and healthcare for orphans and vulnerable children.

Launch of ABC Nursery School and Medical Clinic (2002)
2002 was a pivotal year as UAF launched its flagship ABC Nursery School and the Kitetika Medical Clinic. These facilities, inaugurated by the First Lady of Uganda, Mrs. Janet Museveni, and the Prime Minister, laid the groundwork for further expansion in education and healthcare.
